Question 13: Can God do all things?
SCRIPTURAL BASIS
Psalm 147:5
Jeremiah 32:17
Daniel 4:34–35
Ephesians 1:11
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
When we ask can God do all things, we must recognize that while God is all powerful, he will ever do anything that is at odds with his perfect, holy will. What is God’s will?
(God’s will is everything that God desires or wishes to happen in heaven and on earth.)
God’s will is divided into two types of his will:
God’s Revealed Will: Those things God has disclosed to his creatures.
God’s Secret Will: What God alone knows he will do.
