At its heart, a testimony is the story of what God has done by saving you by his grace. God in his mercy and grace sent his son to save sinners and to give them eternal life through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ on the cross. So a testimony is not about what you did, but about what He did in and through you. It’s an opportunity to worshipfully, and gratefully proclaim the saving grace of God in your life to another. In 1 John 1:4, John shared the truth of the grace of Christ in his life and he stated, “we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.” When you share you story God may use your story to draw people to himself and complete their joy by saving them by his amazing grace.
