Believer’s Baptism

We baptize by immersion because it is not only the original significance of the Word, but also because it best symbolizes the reality to which baptism points— our death and resurrection in Christ. In Romans 6 the apostle Paul told the Roman Christians that they were “buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that…we too might walk in newness of life.”

We celebrate baptisms on Sunday mornings during our 10:30 am service. You’re welcome to invite friends and family to gather around you as you read (or have someone else read) your story. To prepare for baptism, click the link below and tell us your story:
