Answer: In three persons.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

  1. It distinguishes our God from other gods.

  2. He is one God in three persons and is eternally sufficient, eternally loving, and eternally gracious.

  3. He is eternally united. He is not three gods, but one God in three persons (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  4. Is this confusing? (Yes, it is even confusing for adults!)
